Dr. Walsh is a native of Amite County and currently resides near Summit. He has been a bi-vocational pastor for nearly 35 years and is beginning his 13th year as pastor of Gillsburg Baptist.

Andrew Hudson,
Youth Pastor/MUSIC Leader
Andrew is originally from Brandon, MS. Prior coming to Gillsburg, Andrew served in youth ministry for seven years. He is currently pursuing a Bachelors of Church Ministry degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Andrew is married to Claire Hudson, and they have two sons - Cooper (2021), and John David (2024).
Andrew came to Gillsburg in April of 2025 and has a passion for worship and reaching the next generation with the gospel and helping them grow in their walk with God
